Threshold management in dramaturgy
Whether we like this or not, we all play social roles.
Perhaps we weren’t reminded that we were hired to fulfill a social role.
We didn’t realize we were hired to play IN a team.
In teams, there are front stage, back stage, center stage, borders and off stage roles.
On the edges of the borders there are discrepant roles (dark, inside, outside, free, strategic) all designed to filter the experience.
In roles we have: informer, shill, spotter, mediator(messenger), non person (janitor, usher etc), service specialist, colleague, confidant, stage talker, back stage talker, etc
So, when you off to work/school tomorrow, or return to family, realize…
you were hired to play in a dramaturgy.
Remember Good Games.
